The fight against melasma can be more than frustrating especially when you've tried everything and wasted a bunch of money. We treat your melasma in the most effective and promising way possible with a combination of Aerolase® Laser Treatments & SkinMedica or ZO Chemical Peels.

Say Goodbye to Redness and Veins

Redness can occur for multiple different reasons. Besides from sun exposure, rosacea is a common reason behind excessive redness, especially on the face. The laser's 650 microsecond pulse duration is able to penetrate deep in the skin to restore your complexion and erase visible veins. Rejuvenate your skin back to its natural, clear complexion and say "bye bye" to visible veins.
How many treatment sessions are required for melasma?
This can vary depending on the size density of melanin and depth of the affected area. Typically melasma will lighten or dissapear completely after 1-2 treatments although in some cases more treatments may be necessary.
How many treatment sessions are required for severe acne and acne scarring?
This can vary depending on skin and severity of the condition, but generally 4 to 6 sessions are required to achieve a great result. After that, the patient may need maintenance every few months depending on skin type.
Is it painful?
No, there is just a mild, very tolerable sensation of heat. This is one of the key technical breakthroughs of Aerolase technology! The LightPod Neo has set a new standard for virtually pain-free treatment, even on darker skin types, thanks to MicroPulse-1064 technology.
For hair removal, how many treatment sessions are required?
This can vary depending on skin and hair color, but generally 4 to 6 sessions are required for 80% clearance or greater, which is considered very good in aesthetic laser medicine. After that, an annual maintenance treatment is recommended.
How does this treatment work on PFB (ingrown hairs)?
The laser energy is absorbed by pigment in actively growing hair, damaging the hair follicle and thus, hair regrowth is impeded, reducing and eliminating the bumps caused by ingrown hairs.
Is it permanent, or do the hairs grow back?
The FDA requires that laser manufacturers describe the process as “permanent hair reduction”, not “permanent hair removal”, because, in their words, “although laser treatments with these devices will permanently reduce the total number of body hairs, they will not result in a permanent removal of all hair.” Patients can generally expect more than 75% to 80% clearance after 6 sessions and should plan on 1 or 2 annual follow up sessions for ideal maintenance.
For anti-aging and brown spots, when can I expect to see an improvement?
Improvement may be seen anywhere immediately after the treatment to a few weeks after the first treatment. Typically a session every month for 6 months is required. Patients should notice considerable results during the entire course of treatments and for another 6 months after the treatment due to the constant growth of new collagen and elastin. It is important to realize that there is no way to stop the skin’s aging process, so further treatment may be required in the future.
Is it permanent, or will my spots and laxity come back?
While your skin will appear firmer, more full and both red and brown spots will diminish, the skin will continue to age so maintenance treatments may be required in the future. To reduce the signs of aging it is important to wear sunscreen, which will slow any increase of wrinkles and sun damage.
I have warts. How many treatment sessions are required to get rid of them?
This can vary depending on the depth and size of the wart. Typically warts disappear completely after 1-2 treatments although in some cases more treatments may be necessary.
What causes warts to form?
A wart is a type of skin growth caused by a viral infection of the skin, commonly found on the fingers and around fingernails as well as the bottom of the feet. It commonly enters the body through an area of broken skin, which can cause rapid growth above the skin or even slow growth beneath the skin, as is common with plantar warts.
Is it permanent, or can the wart come back?
Once the vasculature feeding the wart has been destroyed, it is likely that it will be gone permanently, but it is important to take precaution so that no other infections occur. Some people are very prone to developing warts and a regimental upkeep may need to be performed
For vein treatment is it permanent, or do the vessels come back?
Many vessels will be gone permanently, but due to the skin aging, continued sun exposure and hormonal changes, new vessels will likely develop over time and more treatments will need to be performed. To slow the aging process and reduce the likeliness of new vessels developing, patients should always apply sunblock when in the sun and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
