Liquid Lipo

Liquid Lipo works by diminishing fat cells near the injection site with deoxycholic acid, causing the breakdown and eventual demise of the fat cells. Liquid Lipo can target and reduce fat in areas like the stomach, hips, thighs, back, and neck.

Liquid Lipo is for nonsurgical candidates and patients interested in a nonsurgical approach to reducing stubborn fat. Those that are on a weight loss journey that need a little extra targeted health. 

 Patients with loose skin or poor tone may not be suitable candidates for the procedure.

Complications are uncommon but include nerve injury. Side effects include redness, swelling, and stinging sensation that subsides typically after a few hours. 

Every patient is different, and it is dependent on the area of treatment. Treatments are scheduled one time per month.  During the period of swelling the area can look fuller than it did before treatment, but as the fat cells are disrupted and the inflammation subsides, most patients see results by 6 to 8 weeks after a treatment. Unless a patient were to gain weight, the results should be long-lasting.
